Together, we make it happen. At the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz, Housekeeping is the very heart of our operations. With 150 rooms and suites, 30 residences, and expansive, magnificent public areas, we set the benchmark for alpine luxury hospitality. As Housekeeping Director, you are the strategic mind behind this monumental undertaking. You lead the department with foresight, a calm demeanor, and an impeccable eye for aesthetics.


Your Mission: Strategy Meets Uncompromising Quality

In this key position, you report directly to the EAM Rooms Division and bear full responsibility for the Housekeeping department (approx. 50-80 employees):

  • Departmental Leadership & Vision: You oversee the overall aesthetic of the rooms and ensure that Forbes Travel Guide standards and our internal quality requirements are not just met, but lived as a benchmark of excellence.
  • Management Leadership: You lead and coach the Housekeeping Manager and the Laundry Manager, who manage daily operations. Together, you continuously develop and refine the departments.
  • Staff Infrastructure & Residence Management: You hold overarching responsibility for the administration and quality standards of the various staff houses and rooms. Furthermore, you serve as a poised and professional point of contact for the guests of our exclusive residences.
  • Financial Management: You manage the departmental budget, monitor labor costs (P&L), coordinate procurement, and plan investments for renovations or new acquisitions.
  • Interface Management: You work closely with the Engineering, Laundry, and Front Office departments to guarantee a seamless guest journey.
  • Sustainability & Innovation: You implement ecologically sustainable cleaning concepts and drive the digitalization of housekeeping workflows.
  • Talent Development: You are responsible for long-term personnel planning, the recruitment of key positions, and the fostering of talent within your large, international team.


Your Profile: Strategic Leader with an Eye for Detail

You are a seasoned professional who has already demonstrated the ability to lead large teams in the luxury hotel industry successfully and efficiently.

  • Experience: You have an extensive career in 5-star housekeeping and have successfully held a senior leadership role (e.g., Executive Housekeeper or Director) in properties of a comparable size.
  • Leadership Skills: You are a leader who inspires through technical expertise and personal strength. You understand how to structure processes without losing the flexibility required of a luxury operation.
  • Training: you excel at the continuous development and training of your team.
  • Digital Affinity: Proficient in the use of PCs and standard hospitality software.
  • Language Proficiency: You are fluent in German and English. As a large part of our team is Italian- or Portuguese-speaking, knowledge of Italian is a decisive advantage for your daily work.
  • Analytical Thinking: You enjoy working with numbers, calculations, and modern hotel management systems.
  • Personality: You are characterized by composure, discretion, and extremely high aesthetic standards. Even during the peak season, you maintain the necessary perspective and calm.
